Montage Monday: A Day at the Races

Jockey Calvin Borel

Happy Memorial Day! This my last weekend in the country with my family, and we watched “America’s favorite past time” and attended a few baseball games. Today we are at Churchill Downs watching 11 races, and I’m so excited! So, I thought I’d share some pictures from my last time at Churchill. Hope everyone is enjoying the long weekend!

  1. Sounds fun. I’ve only been to the races once and it was fantastic! Everyone becomes an expert on the form, jockeys and horses. I just go for the ones with the best names.

Going to the Kentucky Derby is on my bucket list — I think you volunteered to go with me one day :-)

  3. Never been to a race before but the actual race and betting could be fun. I dont know if I would come early to explore or anything just make it in time for the race. I am amazed at how small the jockey’s are. Great photos!
